Brisbane Broncos

The Brisbane Broncos are the most successful team in Australian rugby league history, having won six premierships since their inception in 1988. The Broncos play their home games at Suncorp Stadium and are currently coached by Wayne Bennett. The Broncos have won fourteen minor premierships and one pre-season cup since 1988, making them the second most successful team in the history of the NSWRL/ARL/NRL.

In 2006, former Canberra, NSW and Australian coach Wayne Bennett was appointed as the club’s head coach after a monumental power struggle. After an unsuccessful 2008 season, Bennett left the club after a dispute with the board of directors. He was replaced by Brisbane-born coach Anthony Griffin.
